The Kariobangi bodaboda operator became the last winner of the 6-week long competition that saw Radio Jambo fans all over the country engage in a cat and mouse game with the Radio Jambo money bags for a chance to win sums of money ranging from KES 20 000 to KES 100 000.
All those searches turned out to be fruitless for the married father of two but he did not give up and as thanks to that spirit, lady luck smiled on him yesterday when he found the Radio Jambo Sonko Wa Masonko on Wednesday near the Kenya National Archives after a 6-hour search.
In the video shared below, Charles revealed that he started searching for the Radio Jambo Sonko Wa Masonko from 10am and found him at 4pm. He added that he asked so many people with some even joining him in the search after learning what he was on about.
When asked what he would do with the money, Juma told Mbusii, Lion and Radio Jambo listeners that he would expand his boda boda business by purchasing a new motorbike and employ someone to do bodaboda business with it and split the profits.
Mbusii and Lion were impressed by his plans for his big cash and in between jokes by them borrow him some money, the two presenters encouraged him to do as he has said adding that there would be no better way to make use of the money.
