A Nairobi court has granted police permission to detain Mugo wa Wairimu for seven more days to conclude a probe on the video showing a man raping a sedated woman in a clinic in Githurai 44 estate, Nairobi.
Police have in the past indicated that it'll be hard to prosecute Mugo for the allegations, for lack of evidence.
The Star reports that police said they had concluded investigations but could only prepare charges of indecent assault and operating a laboratory without registration documents.
The rogue doctor was arrested at a Limuru hotel and arraigned in court on September 11, when he was detained for 14 days amid investigations.
