More than 400,000 students who sat for their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education in 2014 will know their results next week Tuesday, the KNEC boss has said.
CEO Joseph Kivilu said that the Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi will release the results at Mitihani House in Nairobi starting at 9.00 am.
To access the results, parents and guardians are advised to send the candidate's index number through a short message service to 22252 immediately after the release.
"Upon receipt, they should scrutinize the results and communicate any discrepancy or appeals for remarking to KNEC within one month (30 working days) from date of release," Kivilu said in a statement.
The Knec boss said candidates with pending results will receive a letter through their respective head teachers explaining why their examination results have been withheld.
