Ssemwanga was the ex husband to Zarina Hassan a.k.a Zari The Boss Lady, who is currently wife to bongo star Diamond Platnumz. The news of his death was a shocker to many after he was in a coma for 11 weeks for what was termed as a heart attack.
Well, according to The Kampala Sun newspaper, Ivan was poisoned. The writer notes that Ivan last had a meal with family members before he was rushed to the Steve BiKo Hospital, Pretoria, South Africa.
Even before his burial, family members have already started struggling to get his wealth. It is said that Zari has been rubbing shoulders with Ivan’s brothers and who was his best friend King Lawrence.
Ivan was a wealthy man with six schools all over South Africa, hotels and several mansions in Uganda.
Before his demise, Ivan seemed to have effortless affection for Zari who he used to call Zee even after the two had a nasty public separation.
