Reggae Singer John Holt passes on

Celebrated Reggae musician John Holt died on Monday evening in a London Hospital at the age of 69.

The cause of his death is not yet known but the singer had been battling illness for sometime and needed surgery when he collapsed on stage at the One Love Concert in London in August.Holt made his name as lead singer of the group The Paragons before going solo in the 1970s.

His most famous song Stick by Me was the biggest selling Jamaican record in 1972.
