Going by its name, the 2015 Copa America Official Match Ball is either expected to be all over the place making noise or be a stimulant for cagey encounters.
Ahead of next Monday's 2015 Copa America draw, yesterday Nike revealed what would be the tournament official match ball in an event held at Chile's National Stadium. The ball is named Cachaña in tribute to a parrot species found in Chile by the same and it has a design similar to the Nike Ordem II balls that are in use in the Copa Libertadores, La Liga, Premier League and Serie A.
The ball is mainly white in colour and is decorated with white, blue, red and brown graphics which pay tribute to Chile's rich history. The ball also features a black swoosh and the 2015 Copa America logo.
The Copa America is the oldest football tournament in the world and next year's edition of the competition will be held in Chile from June 11 to July 4.
