Marcelo Claims To Be Faster Than Ronaldo And Bale In Facebook Q&A

Brazilian left-winger Marcelo is a lovable figure at Real Madrid due to his commitment and loyalty to the club, pace, mazy dribbles and affable character. The defender, who has made over 200 appearances for Los Blancos since joining them from Brazilian club Fluminense  in 2007, yesterday took time to answer questions from fans of his official Facebook page, Marcelo M12.

The questions ranged from his Real Madrid, relationships with teammates and how he spends his time outside football as well as who he backs to win the 2014 FIFA Ballon d'or award. His answer on who he wants to win the Ballon d"Or was not surprising but the same can not be said of the answer he gave when asked who between him, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale is the fastest.

Which is the best goal that you have ever scored?

All special I have scored are special and I remember all of them dearly but the best is the one I scored in the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid this year.

How long do you plan to stay at Real Madrid?

I am very happy here and want to play for this club until I retire.

My father.

Who is your best friend at Real Madrid?

I get along well with all my teammates.

Cristiano Ronaldo. Without a doubt.
