HOMA BAY: ODM's Moses Kajwang' Wins Senator Seat By Landslide

Moses Kajwang' was elected as the new Homa Bay senator yesterday in a landslide victory that affirmed CORD leader Raila Odinga's continued dominance of the region.

Kajwang' takes over the seat from his elder brother, Otieno Kajwang', who passed away in November last year.

As of 2030h yesterday, Kajwang' had garnered over 70 000 more votes than his nearest rival, Phillip Okundi of Maendeleo Party. Kajwang' had 95 013 votes while Okundi had 20 812 votes.
