First Lady Margaret Kenyatta meets Kenyans living in New York

First Lady Margaret Kenyatta lauded Kenyans living in New York have been lauded for their exemplary effort in bringing out the best of Kenya to an international audience.

Margaret Kenyatta who was speaking during a reception hosted by the Ministry of Devolution and Planning and the Kenya Mission to the United Nations, praised Kenyans working at the UN as well as those working in New York for the numerous positive mentions Kenya had gotten during the 59th session of the Commission on the Status of Women.

The First Lady encouraged Kenyans living in the diaspora and especially those working at the United Nations urging them to continue with their exemplary effort of putting a positive image of the country on the world map.

On Beyond Zero, the First Lady urged every Kenyan and friend of Kenya to extend a lending hand to the underprivileged communities living in marginalized areas so that all Kenyans could have equal opportunities to achieve their dreams.
