What Your Blood Group Says About Your Personality

Japanese people believe that there is more to blood groups than just being, using a definition provided Webster dictionary, as a classification into which individuals or their blood can be separated on the basis of the presence or absence of specific antigens in the blood.

To them, a person is who he/she is because of his/her blood group. It is an idea that they strongly believe since a professor, Takeji Furukawa, at the Tokyo Women's Teacher's School published a paper on the subject in 1927 which was titled, "The Study of Temperament Through Blood Type".

The belief is steeped so deep in Japanese culture that in some workplaces workers wear tags that indicate which Blood Group they are rather than their names so that clients will have it easy to spot individuals who they are comfortable with.

BLOOD GROUP A

People who are Blood Group A's are said to possessing the following qualities.

Best Traits: Conservative, sensitive, clever, smart, artistic, introverted, thoughtful, reserved, patient and punctual.

Worst Traits: Obsessive, stubborn, self conscious and uptight.

They have a reputation of being perfectionists and hence are revered for their research skills. Though they are capable of making good leaders they shy away from such responsibility because they are not good at handling stress.

Famous Blood Group As include former US Presidents George H. W. Bush, Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon, musician Britney Spears, actor Jet Li and dictactor Adolf Hitler.

BLOOD GROUP B

People with Blood Group are believed to have the following traits.

Best Traits: Creative, goal-oriented, passionate, animal loving, empathetic, optimistic, flexible and individualistic.

Worst Traits: Forgetful, irresponsible, hesitant, and self-centered.

Blood Group B are seen as a balance between Blood Group A and Blood Group O. They are believed to be as thoughtful as Blood Group As and as ambitious as Blood Group Os.

Famous Blood Group Bs include musician Luciano Pavarotti and actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

BLOOD GROUP AB

Best Traits: Cool, controlled, rational, charming, popular, charismatic, introverted and empathic.

Worst Traits: Aloof, critical, indecisive and unforgiving.

Blood Group ABs can be said to be unpredictable because they are to have traits that cut across all the other three blood groups. They can be as shy as they can be confident and outgoing as they can be introverted.

Famous ABs include John F. Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Thomas Edison and Jackie Chan.

BLOOD GROUP O

Best Traits: Ambitious, athletic, robust and self-confident, outgoing, social, born-leaders, creative, popular

Worst Traits: Arrogant, vain, insensitive and ruthless.

They have a reputation of being initiators but never implementers. They rarely finish projects which they start but handle stress better than people who are in the other blood groups.
