The Energy Regulatory Commission has released new pump prices which will be effective from tomorrow, April 15 2015 to Thursday 14th May 2015.
According to the commission the new pump prices were arrived at after taking into account the average weighted cost of imported petroleum products and the overall result has seen the maximum allowed price of Super Petrol decrease by KES 0.11 per liter, that of diesel increasing by KES 1.28 per litre and pump prices for Kerosene will go up by KES 1.46 per litre.
Following those changes, the new pump prices (per litre) in Mombasa for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene respectively will be KES 86.04, KES 74.21 and KES 54.49 respectively.
Pump prices (per litre) in Nairobi will be as follows: KES 89.35 for Super Petrol, KES 77.48 for Diesel and KES 57.21 for Kerosene.
Nakuru residents will be Super Petrol at KES 90.09 per litre, Diesel at KES 78.41 per litre and Kerosene at KES 58.06 per litre.
The new pump prices (per litre) in Eldoret for the three commodities will be KES 91.24, KES. 79.56 and KES 59.08 respectively.
In Kisumu, the pump prices (per litre) will be adjusted as follows: KES 91.31 for Super Petrol, KES 79.63 for Diesel and KES 59.08 for Kerosene.
