MACHAKOS: Church shut down over nude worship

Healing Ministries Church in Machakos County was on Wednesday closed following complaints that worshippers allegedly undress during prayer services.

According to the-star.co.ke, Masinga deputy county commissioner Muraya Mwangi said there has been an outcry that women who attend the church undress before being prayed for.

Relying on investigations, he said that only women are allowed to attend the Healing Ministries Church services and there is no specific time for worship.

Mwangi said some women were recently found naked in the church when the Ekalakala chief and residents raided it.

Ekalakala Town Business Community chairman Duncan Mutua said the pastor has been caught several times praying for nude women inside the church.
