The Kenya Sevens rugby team got off to a disappointing start at the ongoing IRB series London circuit courtesy of a 40-0 demolition by England.
Shujaa who were looking to better their performances after a frustrating outing at the Glasgow Sevens, were put to sword from the onset when Dan Bibby put the hosts ahead two minutes into the game with a converted try.
James Rodwell and Marcus Watson's quick tries put the game beyond Kenya as they were made to pay for their complacency with a 21-0 score at the interval.
Poor defence and lack of concentration again saw England easily out muscle their Kenyan counterparts, with the game's fifth and sixth tries to leave the score at 40-0. Kenya will have to win their next two group matches against Scotland and Brazil later in the day.
