Residents of Naivasha are in shock after the body of a middle-aged man was discovered in a hotel room hours after he was seen partying with some commercial sex workers.
It is feared that the man could have been drugged and died due to an overdose as the suspect escaped with all his valuables.
A witness who declined to be named said that the man was seen in one of the popular night clubs with a woman before retreating to the lodging.
“Workers who were cleaning the rooms failed to get a response and called on the police who on breaking the door found the body of the man,” said the witness.
A senior police officer confirmed the incident adding that the deceased did not have any identification documents.
The man's body was collected by the police and taken to the Naivasha Sub-county Hospital mortuary as investigations into his death commenced.
