Controversy continues surrounds the whereabouts of self-proclaimed god Jehovah Wanyonyi following social media reports that he is dead.
The spiritual leader's family have however refuted claims that he died from a spinal cord injury after he fell at the weekend.
Wanyonyi's 30th wife, Sylvia, said she was shocked by the news, but like sect members believes her husband cannot die.
The god, whom the 'Lost Israelites of Kenya' worship, is said to have 70 wives, at least 360 children and more than 1,000 grandchildren.
Wanyonyi's followers, who have remained unmoved by the reports, are seeking the truth on his health.
Anxious for information, they have been meeting at his home in Nangili village, on the border of Uasin Gishu and Kakamega counties.
