Affectionately known as Mzee, Radio Jambo presenter Toldo Kurya is popular among Radio Jambo listeners for his deep voice and vast knowledge of football and other sports.
Together with Diamond Okusimba, he runs one of the best radio sports show in the country, Radio Jambo Sports Wrap, every weekday from 1900h to 2000h and on Saturdays from 1100h to 1300h.
Toldo is rarely seen without a cap on and it seems it is a trait that he has adapted since childhood if a photo he shared on his Facebook page today as part of the Throwback Thursday theme is anything to go by.
Perhaps trying to justify his "Mzee" Toldo cheekily claimed that the photo was taken in 1956 but those close to him say that the photo, which can be seen below, was taken anytime in the late 1970s.
From the photo, it seems that Toldo has not changed much if the chubby cheeks are anything to go by.
