PHOTOS: Fred Arocho participates in Kamiti prison's charity match

On Saturday, Kamiti maximum prison inmates had every reason to smile after they were treated to a rare heart warming charity match event, which interestingly featured a soccer match between Ex Kenyan footballers and Kamiti inmates players.

Radio Jambo commentator cum presenter, Fred Arocho who turned out for Kenyan premier league side KCB back in the day, also participated in what he termed as "One of the most emotional moments" of his life.

This is after the former full back finally reunited with Teddy Rodgers, former Utalii player and a life long friend who is currently serving his life sentence at the facility.

The two teams played out to a 3-3 draw, with 'Papa lohonela' once again registering his name on the score sheet in an entertaining encounter which also served as an eye opening experience for the award winning presenter.

"Rodgers and I embraced for quarter an hour, our eyes soaked in tears." Said an Arocho, who was rekindling the moment with his world of sports co-hosts on Sunday.
