Police have 10 days to probe two suspects who allegedly harbour individuals planning terror attacks in Mombasa county.
Mohammed Abdalla and Fatuma Ahmed, who were arrested at their home in Mwembe Kuku in Mombasa, will be detained at Central police station as investigations continue.
Investigation officer Peter Mugut told the court the suspects were linked to two others, who have been on the most wanted list.
Luqman Khatib and Swaleh Faras, who were arraigned on Thursday, did not plead to the charges as police asked for more time to investigate them.
Luqman is the younger brother of Kayun Khatib, who is accused of killing Kisauni DCIO Victor Thangalani in 2013.
Mugut said the alleged planners have been making explosives at Ahmed's house, who is said to be a close ally of fugitive Mohammed Soshi.
Soshi is accused of violent crimes and the murder of security agents combating radicalizations and terrorism in Mombasa's Old Town.
Abdulaziz and Ahmed will appear in court on November 3.
