More than 50 Ethiopians were yesterday evening arrested at a house in Kasarani, Nairobi for being in the country illegally.
The 54 are said to have been en route to South Africa and had arrived on Monday. Police said that none of those arrested could speak English or Swahili.
They were expected to appear in court today.
Police say most of the aliens are brought in by merchants who demand a fee from them before they are sneaked out to South Africa.
