A week ago, Arsenal forward Theo Walcott took to Instagram to proclaim just how much he loves his post-match bump celebration with giant defender, Per Mertesacker.
Traditionally, the pacy forward celebrates with the big German defender after an Arsenal win.
On Saturday, Per Mertesacker was not part of the Arsenal squad that beat Sunderland 3-1 in the FA Cup third round, after Arsene Wenger rang five changes in the squad that beat Newcastle 1-0 in the league.
Walcott played the full 90 minutes as Arsenal came from 1-0 down to win 3-1 against a weakened Sunderland side.
And, instead of Mertesacker, Walcott called a fan at full time to perform the bump celebration…
The the lucky fan also received Walcott’s shirt after that.
