In his last two matches against Arsenal, Diego Costa, probably the most hated Chelsea striker by Arsenals since Didier Drogba, has scored twice and managed to have three players sent off thanks to his theatrics, an art he has perfected.
When the two teams clashed last Sunday, it was a tense and nervy London derby with both Arsenal and Chelsea threatening at will at both ends.
But the competitive fixture's tone changed once Costa appeared to be tripped by Per Mertesacker's last man efforts, which was eventually followed by a straight red card much to Costa's joy. Five minutes later the Spanish forward was in the thick of action once again this time converting Branislav Ivanovic's cross to score the match's solitary goal.
Despite the bad blood between Costa and Arsenal fans, it appears that not every Arsenal fan dislikes him, thanks to his untold off-field activities.
According to an Arsenal fan going by the name '‘arsefan’ he will forever be grateful to Costa who apparently helped his London orphanage stay open. Arsefan took to The Gurdian's comment section to narrate how Costa and his team mate Willian paid him and his wife a surprise visit at the orphanage, before making handsome contributions which will keep the orphanage afloat at least for the next few weeks.
