Former Ulinzi Stars Player Among Those Killed In El Adde, Club Confirms

Kenyan Premier League side Ulinzi Stars have confirmed the death of its former defender, Kevin Ouma.

Ouma, popularly known as Oush, was among KDF soldiers killed by Al Shabaab militants during an attack on their camp in El Adde on January 15 this year.

The 33-year-old had retired from football to concentrate on his military career in 2014 after suffering a knee injury.

His death was confirmed on Tuesday by the club which eulogized him on their and pages.

Ouma was part of the Ulinzi Stars team which won the league in 2010 and finished first runners-up in 2011.

He also won the KPL Top 8 Trophy with the club in 2011 and was voted its best defender in 2012.
