Radio Jambo producer, Gregory Mulemi this morning escaped unhurt after a bus he was traveling in lost control and overturned on Magadi road, a few meters from Bomas of Kenya.
According to Mulemi who produces the Mbusii na Lion teketeke show, the driver of the bus which plies the Ongata Rongai route, was trying to negotiate a corner when the vehicle lost control and overturned, injuring scores of passengers.
"Everything happened so fast, we were coming from Rongai on our way to Nairobi, when our driver lost control as he tried to negotiate a corner just near Galleria shopping mall, that's when the bus overturned and luckily no one died but a number of us (passengers) sustained minor injuries. " Narrated a shaken Mulemi, adding that he escaped with minor leg injuries.
We are glad that Mr. Mulemi is safe and sound as we wish him and the injured passengers speedy recovery.
