Gor Mahia, Sofapaka Share Spoils In A Barren Draw

Gor Mahia yesterday failed to close the gap between them and Tusker in the Kenyan Premier League as they were held to a barren draw by Sofapaka in a KPL match.

The results leaves Gor Mahia four points behind Tusker in the KPL standings with five matches to go. In the other matches played yesterday, Mathare United were held to a barren draw by Posta Rangers while Sony Sugar settled for a one all draw with Thika United at Thika.

On Saturday, Western Stima piled more mystery on AFC Leopards as they beat them one nil. Wesley Kemboi scored Stima’s lone goal, six minutes after kick off.

The result leaves Leopards in 12^th place in the league table with 29 points while Stima have climbed to 3rd place with forty points. Elsewhere, City Stars beat Bandari 3-1, Kakamega Homeboyz settled for a one all draw with Ushuru while Chemelil Sugar beat Uinzi Stars one nil.
