Kenyans Aren't The Best English Speakers After all, As Uganda Tops Africa

So a few months ago there was a twitter feud between Kenyans and their counterparts in Ugand. Migingo island might have been the core reason but one thing I remember is Kenyans bragged about how fluent they are when it comes to speaking English.

Some mocked the heavy Ugandan accent but it seems that accent or not, Uganda are the best in Africa when it comes to speaking the Queen's language, beating Kenyan fair and square, thanks to a study conducted by World Linguistic Society.

Kenya comes in fourth just after Zambia and South Africa with our dear Tanzanian neighbors nowhere to be seen in the top 9 list.

Just like in Kenya, English is the official language in Uganda with their Schools and institutions teaching students in English.

However, Nigeria is a shock exclusion from the list bearing in mind that English is their official language.
