Joseph Ogidi shocked his fans on Tuesday evening when he revealed some interesting news regarding Kenya's favorite music power couple; Nameless and Wahu.

Gidi formerly of Gidi Gidi Maji Maji, posted a photo on Instagram hanging out with Nameless after bumping into him in an event in Nairobi. An excited Gidi revealed that Nameless who's real name is David Mathenge and his wife, Wahu Kagwi always attended the duo's concerts back in the day. In fact, this used to happen way even before the couple started producing music.

What's fascinating is that these three are still great friends over a decade later, having conquered the country's entertainment scene back in the day.

Nameless shot to fame in the late 90's after winning a star-search contest on Capital FM, for composing his hit song "Megarider."

If you recall Gidi Gidi Maji Maji made their name known back in 2000 after they released their debut album, Ismarwa, but their biggest breakthrough came in 2002 when they released 'Unbwogable', a song that became an anthem which has ruled the airwaves to date.

In the star studded event last night, Gidi was also able to meet and interact with longtime friends and celebrities note-ably musician Gilad, Big Pin, DJ Pinye and WIlly M Tuva.
