Uganda is a country that has a strong-man leader in Yoweri Museveni. The man like his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame is a former military commander and has led Uganda for the last 32 years.

A modern day “democracy” that brooks no opposition. Kisa Besigye and Bobi Wine have all seen what happens when one tries to go against him. The scars are deep and the trauma they have may never leave them.

And it seems that the people who are on the good side of the Ugandan president enjoy certain perks. From having immense wealth to glory and praise in the public sphere.

This week  a video has been doing the rounds that shows how living large has left a certain Ugandan looking rather large. The video shows Uganda First Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of Government Business Gen Moses Ali kicking a football as the guest of honour in-front of a large crowd.

The minister kicks the ball but falls horribly after the act, probably due to the lack of balance caused by his large size. The shame doesn’t end there. Security guards have to help him up get up!

Check out the video below:

What do you think? If this is the kitchen cabinet in Museveni’s government and the implications thereof, is it any wonder that Bobi Wine has been fighting so hard for change in the “Pearl of Africa”?
