Sportpesa Announced Gor Mahia's New Shirt Sponsor

Betting company Sportpesa, is the new shirt sponsor of Gor Mahia, the club has announced.

Sportpesa, who are also the league sponsors, have signed a five year deal with K'Ogalo.

Gor Mahia, who have won the league in the last three seasons, have been without a sponsor since 2014 after Tuzo failed to renew their contract with the 15-time Kenyan league champions.

Tuzo's contract with Gor Mahia expired on March 31 2014.

The dairy company had sponsored Gor Mahia for three years since April 2011.

The sponsorship deal is a huge boost to Gor Mahia's quest for a record fourth consecutive league title as well as attempt at dominating African football.

Gor Mahia will be Kenya's representative to this year's CAF Champions League and with more money to facilitate administrative costs which nagged them last season, the club is definitely well-poised to make a mark in African football.

More details of Gor Mahia's sponsorship deal with Sportpesa will be made available in the coming days.

The club is unveiling its new sponsor and new players at a ceremony at Nyayo Stadium.
