Radio Jambo will be broadcasting live from the Sixty Four in Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu County, this Friday and as result all talk on Radio Jambo this week has been about Kalenjins who are the most populous community in that county.
As with other communities in Kenya, Kalenjins usually get a lot of stick for their struggles with the English language, and Swahili as well, and Gidi and Ghost have been guilty, in a good way though, of aiming the odd jibe to Kalenjins on how they find it hard to pronounce some words because of mother tongue influence.
It is with in mind, that Gidi and Ghost played a hilarious clip of a group of youth who call themselves "Kalenjin School of Elders" who moved to clear the air about Kalenjins finding it hard to pronounce English words.
The "School of Elders" went on to outline what they term "Kalenjin Alphabet" and it is comical bliss.
Listen to the "Kalenjin Alphabet" in the clip below.
