Businesswoman Joyce Akinyi and three others have been arrested on suspicion of drug possession and trafficking.
The four were arrested from a house near Akinyi’s restaurant in Nairobi West last night.
The arrests were made by a group of detectives who raided the house, police and witnesses said. They were later driven to Muthaiga police station where they were locked up.
Police say they are detaining the four for further investigations as they wait for results from the Government Chemists on the drugs seized. They will be charged when investigations are complete.
