Education cabinet secretary Jacob Kaimenyi has been given seven days by Kenya Union of Post Primary Education (KUPPET) to revoke a gazette notice putting head teachers under his direct control.
KUPPET’s Akello Missori says they were not consulted over the matter and adds if the cabinet secretary fails to do so teachers will not go back to school come second term.
