Former Mathare United custodian shelves Fan’s Players award in Norway

Harambee Stars and Lillestrom goalkeeper Arnold Origi has bagged club’s 2014 Fans’ Player of the Season award.

According to Goal.com, Origi received the accolade on Monday night. Origi who has been in great form for his Norwegian side, featured in 30 league matches last season.

Origi’s Lillestrom managed a fifth finish with 46 points in the Norwegian league.

The Kenyan international has also been nominated for Norwegian Premier League Goalkeeper of the Year Award.

The 30-year-old former Tusker and Mathare United shot-stopper will fight it out with Molde FK's Orjan Nyland and Andre Hansen of BK for the accolade.
