Mother to former Kenyan internationals - Mike Okoth Origi, Austin Oduor Origi, Gerald Origi and Anthony Origi - has passed.

Leonida Apondi Origi died at age of 80 at her family home in Mumias, Kakamega County, on Wednesday after a short illness.

Leonida is also grandmother to Belgian international Divock Origi (son of Mike Okoth) and Harambee Stars goalkeeper Arnold Origi (son of Austin Oduor who captained Gor Mahia to Mandela Cup glory in 1987).

A fundraising to meet burial and funeral expenses will be held at 5pm on Tuesday next week at Garden Square Hotel in Nairobi.
