Chelsea Doctor Eva Carneiro Had An Affair With A Player, Says Ex-Lover

Controversy surrounding Chelsea Doctor's exclusion from match day duties at the London club has taken another turn after her ex-lover, in an interview with The Sun, claimed that she had an affair with one of Jose Mourinho's players.

Eva Carneiro fell out with the Portuguese manager last weekend when she together with the club's physio, John Fearn, rushed to the pitch to treat Eden Hazard at time when Chelsea, already down to 10 men following the exclusion of Thibaut Courtois earlier on, were defending a Swansea attack. Mourinho was angered by the move which left the team with 8 outfield players as Hazard, who he strongly felt needed no medical attention as he did not seem hurt, had to be taken off the pitch to be attended to.

Soon after her demotion from first-team duties, English tabloid The Sun has published an interview with the doctor's ex-lover, Rupert Patterson-Ward who termed Carneiro as a "very sexual woman" and accused her of ruining his life.

This woman ruined my life. Eva would blurt out she had slept with one of the players during heated rows. She said it just to make me feel bad. I don’t believe it was true.
