Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart may be out for 10 days after suffering a hamstring injury in the midweek Champions League defeat at Juventus.
The England international, 28, is expected to miss two league games and Tuesday's League Cup quarter-final.
"It is not serious but a muscle injury - so it is important to recover well," City boss Manuel Pellegrini said.
Willy Caballero will step in, while on the bench Richard Wright will make a first top-flight nod in nine years.
City are also without the injured Vincent Kompany, Eliaquim Mangala, Pablo Zabaleta and Samir Nasri.
