Last weekend Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco awed the world with his show of affection towards his beautiful model girlfriend Noemie Happart after cancelling out Sergio Ramos' opener in the Champions League final at the San Siro.
The Belgium international levelled the scoreline in the 79th minute with a close-range finish past Real Madrid keeper Keylor Navas before racing to the Atletico Madrid stands. It looked like the 22-year-old wanted to celebrate the moment with Atletico's travelling supporters but it then became clear that he was actually searching for his girlfriend.
That romantic moment triggered memories of similar romantic gestures by footballers on the pitch across the world on featuring top footballers like, Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Pique.
