To some, winning the Grammy's is the ultimate prize for any musician in the world while for actors and actresses you have to win the Oscar's award to cement your name among the legends of the game.

Well for footballers, the World Cup, Champions League, European Championship, League trophy or the African cup is what every player dreams of attaining while representing their countries/ league teams but the Ballon d'Or is what casts the satellite on who'll go down as world's best player in a calendar year.

Well away from that, only a few know what it means to be featured in the Guinness book of world records. It means that once you get featured it simply translates to you being the best of the best at whatever you do. Be it swimming with the crocodiles, the number of piercings on your body or even how fast you can swallow 2-inch nails.

Thanks to extraordinary careers at the pinnacle of English football, Premier League stars Petr Cech and Gareth Barry have both won places in the much-coveted Guinness World Records 2017 book.

According to throughout a glittering career, playing for two of the country’s biggest clubs in Chelsea (04 – 15) and now Arsenal, Czechoslovakian stopper Petr has kept 181 clean sheets while playing in English football’s top division, a feat that has earned him the record for Most clean sheets in the Premier League by a football (soccer) goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, Gareth has made a career out of being consistent. Since making his debut at the age of 17 at Aston Villa, he has started 580 games, making him the title holder for Most starts for a Premier League football (soccer) player.
