On 6th of April 2014, Kaberere passed on at his carwash in Nairobi after an accidental electrocution and was burried on 11th of the same month and miraculously, their second born Daughter was Born few hours after the burial at the Lang'ata cemetery.

God surely works in mysterious ways. I didn't know what to do when i started on the road to Atlanta. The fundraising concerts and the entire process was something I'd never done and sometimes i even wondered how it would all work out. But you came into my life. God sent you. You handled everything for me. You created a whole team for me. You told me to focus on healing while you handled everything. Njesh i pray for silver and gold for you. I pray for all the success, health and wealth for you and your adorable babies and your family."
