Diamond Platnumz survives car accident while on tour in California

Diamond Platnumz is a very lucky man this weekend. The Tanzanian rapper has had an eventful year filled with highs and lows having being dumped by his wife Zari on Valentines Day.

But the highs have also being considerable with the singer enjoying success in his musical ventures, from the release of his album, "A Boy from Tandale" to his videos and collaborations on YouTube being very popular.

And today he is lucky to be alive. He was involved in a minor accident on his way to his hotel room on Saturday night after performing in Oakland, California.

The Utanipenda singer was in the company of his 'brother' Rommy Jones and two other gentlemen when the incident happened.

The man in the co driver's seat was snapping and before he had finished taking the video, they were involved in an accident.

Diamond took to social media to thank God for another chance and he wrote

"DAH!!! WAS ALMOST DEAD LAST NIGHT!... BUT GOD GAVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE TO BREATHE AND CONTINUE INPIRING  and CREATING MORE FUTURE FOR MY FELLOW YOUTH!!!" -

"Dah Tumepata ajari na kunusurika kufa usiku wa leo wakati tunatoka kwenye show....ila Mwenyez Mungu ametupa nafasi nyingine tena ya kuishi na kuendelea kushikana mkono na vijana wenzangu mtaani kwa pamoja tuziokoe familia zetu duni🙏🏻...."

The singer's followers took to social media to thank God for saving him and were happy that he wasn't hurt.
