Real Madrid have equalled the record for the most wins on the trot in Spanish football, which was previously held by Frank Rijkaard's Barcelona side with 18.
'Los Blancos' have up to four more games in what remains of 2014 and they hope to continue with their winning ways. They play Ludogorets on Tuesday, followed by Almería on Friday and, unless there are any surprises, Cruz Azul in the Club World Cup on the 16th.
If they win the semi-final, they could meet the other favourites in the competition, San Lorenzo, in the final.
Real Madrid have won every single game since losing to Atlético at the Bernabéu on 13th September.
They have strung together 11 consecutive victories in La Liga, five in the Champions League and two in the Copa del Rey.
