ISIOLO: Court Sentences 3 Men To Death For Theft Of KES 700

Three men convicted of stealing KES 700 while armed with crude weapons, and assaulting their victim, were sentenced to death by an Isiolo court on Friday.

The three men,Samson Mwingirwa, Kennedy Kiogora and Michael Murungi, were found guilty of robbery with violence where as a fourth man, Francis Kanyiri, was acquitted after his lawyer told the court that he was a victim of circumstances.

The four had appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Joan Irura and are currently being held at the Meru GK Prsion after being given 14 days to appeal the ruling.
