McDonald Mariga signs for 'Serie B' side Latina Calcio

Former Kenyan international McDonald Mariga has signed for Italy's 'Serie B' side US Latina Calcio on a short term deal.

The Former Inter Milan midfielder who has been out of competitive football since he ditched the Seria A side six months ago signed a six month contract which will see him represent Calcio until June 2016.

Mariga enjoyed a five year stint at Inter Milan where he became the first East African player to win the coveted European Champions League trophy back in 2010 under Jose Mourinho.

Mariga also won the Italian Serie A (2009-2010) Coppa Italia, (2010-2011) Supercoppa Italianna (2010) and the FIFA club world cup in 2010.
