Brandtix, a sporting index platform, has of the Premier League’s most followed players across social media.
Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil tops the list, with over 53 million followers across Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
Despite this, it’s still unclear whether or not Ozil actually manages his own accounts.
Chelsea and Manchester United are both represented four times on the list, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic coming in 2nd.
Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero also features.
Probably the biggest surprise of the list is that Chelsea’s David Luiz features 3rd on the list.
Another surprise is that Paul Pogba doesn’t feature in the top 10. The midfielder became the world’s most expensive footballer after completing a move back to Manchester United from Juventus in the summer.
He may not be close to the top 10, but one to watch out for on social media is Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi, who has already been proclaimed by some at the king of Twitter.
The Belgian striker has tweeted some hilarious gems since his move from Anderlecht and is fast becoming a fan favourite online.
