Africa has grown and the sight of infrastructure is evidence of that. Some of these infrastructure include airport.

Airports have been greatly enhanced due to the increased number of visitors in many African countries.

1. Oliver Tambo International Airport 

The airport is one of the busiest and is the largest in Africa. It is always full and the infrastructure is amazing. It's named after one of the founding fathers of South Africa who helped in its liberation.

It is located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

2. Cairo International Airport

The airport is located in Cairo,Egypt. It is the second biggest airport in Africa and is equally quite busy.

3. Cape town International Airport 

The airport is located approximately 20km from Cape Town city center and serves 8.4 million passengers a year.

It is the second biggest in South Africa and is one of the busiest as well.

4. King Shaka International Airport

It is  also known as La Mercy Airport. It is the primary airport serving Durban, South Africa and is also known to be quite busy.

5. Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport

Sharm El-Sheikh is the second busiest airport in Egypt after Cairo International Airport. It is known to have one of the most beautiful infrastructure.

6. Hurghada International Airport

Sprawled 5km southwest of El Dahar, Hurghada Airport, the sixth on the log is currently served by one terminal.

It is located in Egypt.

7. Mohammed V International Airport

It is located in Casablanca, Morocco and is the busiest airport in Morocco with almost 7.3 million passengers passing through the airport in each year.

It was named after the late Sultan of Morocco.

8. Murtala Mohammed International Airport

It is the largest airport in Nigeria and one of the busiest in West Africa. This airport located in Lagos, Nigeria is the major airport serving the country, with 6.3 million passengers a year.

9. Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

It is the largest airport in Kenya and it is located in Nairobi. It is the busiest airport in East and Central Africa and is named after Kenya's first president.

It is the 9th largest in the list.
