NARC-Kenya leader Martha Karua has accused Deputy President William Ruto of not being sincere about the reasons that led to his sacking from the cabinet in 2011.
The DP said this week that his then dismissal was because he cancelled the sugar import licenses of smuggling barons.
However, speaking on Wednesday at the NARC-Kenya offices, Karua said that Ruto's sacking was because he illegally acquired and sold land in Ngong Forest which belonged to the government.
Karua, who was also in cabinet at that time, further challenged Ruto that if he is convinced that his sacking was linked to the cancellation of sugar baron licences, then he should give out the list of all the companies and individuals whose permits were cancelled, backed up by information on how they had been approved.
