Four people, including two sons of slain drug baron Ibrahim Akasha, have been linked with an international drug trafficking syndicate in the US.
One of the suspects was arrested by the US Federal Bureau of Investigations agents in collaboration with local security agencies with 98 packets of heroine in Nairobi.
He was then flown to Mombasa on the request of the US government where he led the agents to the other suspects who included Baktash and Ibrahim Abdalla Akasha.
Lawyer Cliff Ombeta said the families were able to identify six foreigners who were armed with rifles during the raid in Nyali on Sunday.
