The two were born in Nairobi and there first trip to their respective ancestral homes not only gave them a chance to meet and bond with relatives but also saw them learn about cultural and superstitious beliefs of their respective communities as well as engage in some naughty activities with other village boys.
Lion said he was terrified by owls after he learned that them hooting portended death visiting the community. So scared was Lion of owls that he feared visiting the countryside lest he did not return to the city.
Mbusii on the other hand invoked the wrath of his elder relatives when, together with other boys, stole maize from a neighbour's farm. That was not all for Mbusii as he added that he sat on human faeces while at the farm as he tried to hide away from the farm's owner who had already spotted them stealing his maize.
