A memorial service for the late Jonathan Moi is underway at the Kabarak University grounds.

The body of the late arrived minutes to 10am, as family and friends gathered to mourn the departed.

Details from the eulogy reveal that the late Jonathan suffered months before his death.

He had developed severe gastric problems which led to his hospitalisation. He continued to receive medial care and developed back pain which again defied all medication.

The medical problems persisted until mid March when the family took him to Nakuru Provincial General Hospital where he was put under the care of an oncologist and a cardiologist.

He was diagnosed with stage four Pancreatic cancer which had spread to his liver and lungs. He was put on palliative care until he passed on at Medihead Hospital, Nakuru at 5am Saturday 20th April, 2019.

When he died his body was taken to the Lee Funeral Home.

RIP Jonathan.
